One of my many human characters, Elijah Braintree. I have his entire lifespan mapped out- this portrait is towards the latter portion of his life, when the majority of his 'story' takes place. Think upwards of 100 years or so. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think he was a pretty attractive fellow.
Trying out a bit of a different style this time, obviously. Definitely a learning experience, I'll say that much. I used a photo reference for the face, which I glanced at during the presketches and preceeded to promptly ignore. |
